NEWS UPDATE: Haunted News from Terrorville
Well it is October here on OMGJ, and from what I hear, it is October in the rest of the free world, also. You know what this means. That’s right – an entire solid month of Halloween-themed content! This year we are doing things a little differently, however. We have so much old material that is good enough to look over again that we are recycling some every single day! EVERY DAY! That includes the weekends, kids. Can you handle it? Can WE handle it??
Turns out we can handle that part very easily because Amanda has already scheduled those old articles for every day already. So, barring actual destruction of the site such that it gets obliterated off of the face of the Internet, again, there will definitely be activity on here for the entire month.
But what ELSE will we have to offer?? Well.. That remains to be seen. In a group effort at a classic move, it seems that we have all forgotten to store up content for October throughout September, even though that’s what September is always for. In fact, September slipped away quietly in the night and it is already like a half an hour until October the First as I write this and, well.. I am pretty sure this is the first new thing written for the site for Halloween. Are you scared yet?! WE ARE.
However, maybe a Halloween Miracle will happen and we will actually find time to write all of the things we like to think about writing. Or more accurately: write the things that we talk about thinking about writing. There may be a conclusion to Billy’s BOO! trilogy, finally. Although I think it might take a lot of effort to draw those things. And speaking of drawing, Amanda might actually make her old style of comics with a Halloween theme to them. Halloween visiting Unicorn Valley?? How can anyone tell? (Hint: no one can). We will probably review new costumes, advise you on cheap costumes, and probably tell you about candy and things like that. Is there anything even left for us to write about? MAYBE NOT. Oh, also guests might write some things. Maybe xv will? Maybe he will? And maybe Jeremy will sober up enough to contribute. I’m not sure if that is meant to give you hope or not, but I’m leaving it in there.
